The event is including a conference to discuss Roma inclusion, cultural heritage, and the role of Roma women in community life; an exhibition of handmade jewellery created by Roma women; and a traditional commemorative ceremony concluding the event: a procession carrying the Roma flag to the River Neris, the singing of the Roma anthem, and the symbolic release of flowers into the river in memory of Roma victims and in honour of Roma unity worldwide.
