On 21-22 May 2025, the Council of Europe and the European Union organised a two-day workshop designed for legal professionals eager to integrate behavioural science into their practice. The event explored how understanding personal values can enhance decision-making, improve client relationships, and shape ethical practices in the legal field. 15 lawyers were introduced by the consultant to cognitive biases and how they influence our decision making. The participants also discussed the importance of moral values in decision making and had the opportunity to participate in a number of real life practical exercises.
This event is part of the European Union and Council of Europe joint programme “Partnership for Good Governance”, co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe.
