Back We have a right to dream

This resource offers participants with the opportunity to reflect on and develop, as well as question, their own world view and that of others. It is the aim of this unit to prevent any form of discriminatory behaviour and help learners to believe in human rights and the rule of law as the basis of living together. Participants are guided through the training activity to identify hostile attitudes and feelings towards other people who are different, either from themselves or from the majority.

The resource uses individual work periods, posters, round table discussions as well as writing group rotations and debates to develop and share ideas and learn about other perspectives and opinions during this training.

The resource can be used for in-service training with primary and secondary school teachers working in different subjects who are looking for ways to encourage their learners’ self-development, to help them increase their self-esteem, self-worth and self-confidence.
