This training unit is designed for teachers or teacher trainers. Participants will be introduced to practicing non-formal education (NFE) in formal educational settings, using activities based on experiential learning. They are expected to raise their awareness on the diversity of issues and concepts that go with them and get into the critical analysis of NFE activities, developing multiplying skills.

The unit, developed within the Pestalozzi Programme, can be used at the in-service training of teachers of lower secondary education.
