Lawyers and administrative staff of the Office of the State Advocate (OSA) participated in a two-day ethics training aimed at fostering a shared understanding of the newly upgraded ethics framework of the office.
Held on 15 and 16 July 2025, the training combined interactive sessions and group work to help participants identify and address ethical risks in their day-to-day responsibilities. Discussions also focused on the role of the State Advocate, the rationale behind the newly revised Code of Conduct, and the core values underpinning professional behaviour in the public service.
The activity was organised within the framework of the EU-CoE Joint Project “Attorney General and State Advocate in Malta – Implementation of action plan of offices re-organisation”, co-funded by the European Union via the Technical Support Instrument and implemented by the Council of Europe in cooperation with the European Commission.
