At the beginning of June 2026, 23 countries are expected to take part in Rendez-vous aux Jardins, which became a European event in 2018!
The next European Rendez-vous aux Jardins will take place on Friday 5 (for schoolchildren), Saturday 6, and Sunday 7 June (for all audiences) across Europe, with the theme of “Sight” and a common visual identity.
All parks and gardens are invited to open their doors, whether they are historic or contemporary, public or private, urban or rural, formal or landscaped, orchards or vegetable gardens, community gardens, etc.
Simply fill out an online form on the OpenAgenda website to indicate that the garden will be open during the first weekend of June.
Owners can also register any events they are organizing in connection with the theme, and as they do so, all the gardens participating in this event will be listed on the European map dedicated to the event: www.rendezvousauxjardins.fr.
As in previous years, a study day to prepare this new theme was held on Wednesday 9 February 2026 in Paris (Institut national du patrimoine)
This event addressed to all the organisers (national, regional and European) aimed to study the multiple possibilities offered by the theme chosen for 2026.
Taking place in French language only, the programme of this day is avalaible here and you can also follow it in replay through the following links:
