Back CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS: ENTER! TRAINING FOR YOUTH WORKERS

The call for the Enter! Training for Youth Workers: Empowering youth workers to counter discrimination, exclusion and violence in cooperation with local authorities is open.

The course supports the implementation of the Enter! Recommendation on access of young people from disadvantaged neighbourhoods to social rights, adopted by the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in 2015. The long-term training course will support 30 youth workers to advance the implementation of the Enter! Recommendation through projects in partnership with local authorities within a European and intercultural context.

The long-term training course has 2 residential seminars, online learning, project development and mentoring as its’ key components. The first e-learning module will start at the end of April and the Initial seminar will be held from 21-29 May 2017 in the European Youth Centre Budapest.  

The course is open for youth workers and social workers – full or part time, employed or volunteers - working directly with young people, and who:

  • a) carry out their activities in a non-governmental organisation or in a local authority
  • b) have some experience in projects with young people from disadvantaged neighbourhoods, or projects linked with some social rights
  • c) are involved in planning and implementing the youth work provision of their organisation or service
  • d) already have some experience in cooperation with local/regional authorities.
