The Annual joint meeting of the ENIC and NARIC networks comes to its close today. 

The main items on the agenda include the presentation of the 2nd monitoring report of the implementation of the Lisbon Recognition Convention, an update on the Global Recognition Convention and on the implementation of the EU Council Recommendation on automatic recognition.

The Council of Europe presents the Recommendation on Countering Education Fraud and moderates a parallel workshop “For a quality education free from fraud and corruption: the role of ENIC-NARICs”. 

The networks proceeded with the elections of its governing bodies. 

The new ENIC Bureau team consists of: 

• ENIC President: Chiara Finocchietti (Italy)
• Vice-Presidents: Paul Norris (UK) and Dzenan Omanovic (Bosnia and Herzegovina)

The new NARIC Advisory Board includes:

• Helén Sophie Haugen (Norway)
• Gunnar Vaht (Estonia)
• Gianina Chirazi (Romania).
