The two research volumes based on the Bologna Process Researchers’ Conference held in Bucharest in January 2020 have now been published and are available in open access. The books include some 35 articles on various aspects of the European Higher Education Area.

The Head of the Council of Europe Education Department, Sjur Bergan, coordinated the session on “The Future of the EHEA-Principles, Challenges and Ways Forward” (with Liviu Matei) and wrote two of the articles in the book: “The Future of the Bologna Process and the European Higher Education Area: New Perspectives on a Recurring Topic” (with Liviu Matei) and “Toward a Permanent Bologna Secretariat?” (with Irina Geantă).
