Sub-regional training on the procedures for handling whistleblower complaints

On 22-23 October 2019, the Joint CoE/EU South Neighbourhood Anti-Corruption Project (SNAC 3 Regional) organised a sub-regional training on the procedures for handling whistleblower complaints in Amman, Jordan. This activity follows on the continuous regional technical support provided by the Project and was attended by the representatives of Palestinian and Jordanian anti-corruption authorities.

The training was welcomed by both authorities as it allowed them to enhance their knowledge and skills on international good practices regarding whistleblower protection mechanisms and on complaint reception and processing systems.

The SNAC 3 Project is a component of the Joint CoE/EU Programme “Ensuring sustainable democratic governance and human rights in the Southern Mediterranean” (South Programme III), which is implemented by the Council of Europe during 2018-2020.
