On 11 March 2021, the Action against Economic Crime in Albania organised jointly with the Central Election Commission and the National Democratic Institute a second online technical training for monitors following the appointment of additional monitors of election campaign finances. The training allowed to increase the awareness of monitors on the newly adopted legal framework while focusing on the monitoring of abuse of state resources in election campaign.

The 70 participants had the opportunity to learn about the application of uniform reporting templates for monitoring election campaign finances, as well as techniques and tools for monitoring the different types of reports for election campaign finances. Practical case studies on abuse of state resources as well as good practices in the region were presented by the Council of Europe expert.
