The 1st Steering Committee meeting of the Action against Economic Crime in Montenegro, under European Union and Council of Europe Horizontal Facility for Western Balkans and Turkey – Phase II took place on 11 October 2019 in Podgorica. The Steering Committee discussed and approved its Terms of Reference and the composition, as well as the workplan and the calendar of activities of the Action for the upcoming 6 months. The Steering Committee meeting was co-chaired by representatives of the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro and the Council of Europe.

The stakeholders expressed unanimously satisfaction with results of the Action in the first phase and their firm committment to set objectives and planned activities in the second phase.
