The Council of Europe’s Lanzarote Committee, tasked with monitoring the implementation of the Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse, will publish a new report evaluating the implementation by European states of its 2022 recommendations on tackling ICT-facilitated child sexual abuse and exploitation, namely on protecting children against criminal liability for self-generated sexual material, investigations and international jurisdiction rules, providing assistance to victims, and training persons in contact with children, as well as law enforcement and justice professionals.
