Marking the European Day of Languages on 26 September, Mr Sixto Molina, Head of the Secretariat of the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages, participated in the second European Education Summit, which took place in Brussels on 26 September 2019, and where he presented the Charter's Educational Toolkit.

The event included over twenty interactive sessions focusing on the essential role of teachers and educators in ensuring high quality and inclusive education in the European Education Area. Education Ministers, stakeholders, representatives of civil society and teachers and educators themselves discussed the current state of the teaching profession, the challenges facing it as well as opportunities for the future.
