On 17 December, the Execution Department organised a visit of the President of the Supreme Court of Ukraine and his delegation.
Discussions focused on the development of adequate judicial remedies for implementing the European Convention on Human Rights and the Court’s judgments. Meetings were also held with the Venice Сommission, and the Registry of the European Court. Discussions with the Division of cooperation programmes touched on the enhancement of the Ukrainian Supreme Court’s capacity and the implementation of the European Court’s judgments.
