Key Events and Meetings

The Council of Europe will hold two events to curb hate speech. At the European Youth Centre, a conference on the evaluation and follow-up of the 2012-2015 No Hate Speech Movement youth campaign will take place, at which, on 29 May, PACE President Anne Brasseur will discuss the Council of Europe’s priorities in combating hate speech. At the Council of Europe, the Conference of INGOs and the International League against Racism and and Antisemitism (LICRA) will organise a symposium, “No Hate Web. No Hate Speech.” Participants will include LICRA President Alain Jakubowicz, PACE President Anne Brasseur and Deputy Secretary General Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni.
