Key Events and Meetings

PACE President Anne Brasseur will make an official visit to the country. In Ankara, after a welcome from the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Ms Brasseur is due to meet the President and the Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister and the EU Affairs Minister, as well as the President of the Constitutional Court and representatives of different political parties. In Istanbul, the President is due to meet religious leaders and will give a speech to students at Bilkent University. She will also visit a centre for Syrian refugees in Kilis, close to Turkey’s border with Syria.
