Administrative History
Following a poster exhibition on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the European Cultural Convention in 2005, Central Archives decided to create a collection of all posters produced by the Council of Europe.

CONTENT

The collection contains posters whose themes cover almost all of the Council of Europe's fields of activity: human rights, justice, art exhibitions, cultural and natural heritage, environmental protection, education, citizenship, human resources management, etc. The posters are often published to celebrate anniversaries, conferences, campaigns and other events, and thus increase the  Organisation's visibility.

The posters are public. Like all other Council of Europe publications, prior authorisation from the Council of Europe's Directorate of Communications is required to reprint them.
