Ukraine and the Council of Europe Accession Ukraine became the 37th member State of the Council of Europe on 9 November 1995.

Parliamentary Assembly
Ukraine is represented in the Parliamentary Assembly by a delegation of 12 representatives and 12 substitutes, including:

Congress of Local and Regional Authorities
Ukraine is represented in the Congress by a delegation of 12 representatives and 12 substitute, including:.
- Ivan KULICHENKO (ILDG), Dnipropetrovsk, head of the delegation.
- Nataliya ROMANOVA (ILDG), Chernigiv, Vice-President of the Congress and Vice-President of the Chamber of Regions.

Budget
The Council of Europe's ordinary budget for 2009 is € 205 002 000. The contribution of Ukraine is € 2 905 288.34 (i.e. 1.4172 %).

Human Rights
Ratification of European Convention on Human Rights on 11 September 1997.
