In recent years, the number of users of public online services has significantly increased in Ukraine. This has created a need to raise awareness among users and public officials about the protection of personal data and the potential risks associated with data leakage or unauthorized access.
That is why the Office of the Parliament Commissioner for Human of Ukraine and the Joint Project "EU and Council of Europe working together to strengthen the Ombudsperson’s capacity to protect human rights" in cooperation with the Ukrainian School of Governance in July-October 2021 held 18 workshops for public officials on the topic "Personal Data Protection". In total, 515 people from 97 state bodies improved their skills on this topic.
