On 30-31 March 2026, two HELP tutored courses were launched in Ukraine for lawyers and judges on Admissibility criteria in applications, submitted to the European Court of Human Rights and on Mental Health and Human Rights. Implemented in close cooperation with National School of Judges, Higher School of Advocacy and Coordination Center for Legal Aid Provision, these courses contribute tp strengthening capacity of legal professionals across the country.
Both launches had insightful sessions with inspiring speakers:
- Aurelie Pasquier, Programme Manager, Human Rights and Biomedicine Division;
- Margarita Sokorenko, Government Agent before the European Court of Human Rights;
- Maksym Bryzitskyi, Lawyer of the Registry of the European Court of Human Rights;
- Viktoria Buchkivska, Judge at Stryi City Court of Lviv region;
- Vasyl Krat, Judge of the Supreme Court of Ukraine;
- Andriy Gul, Medical Director of the State Institution "Institute of Forensic Psychiatry, Ministry of Health of Ukraine;
