On 25-28 April 2018, the Council of Europe organises a visit to Poland for selected Ukrainian local authorities – winners of the Contest “Best practices of local self-government in 2017”. The visit falls within the framework of the Programme “Decentralisation and Local Government Reform in Ukraine”, implemented by the Centre of Expertise of Local Government reform, in partnership with the Ministry for Regional Development, Building and Housing of Ukraine. During the visit, the Ukrainian delegation will participate in the 4th European Congress of Local Governments (Krakow).

Since 2012, the Contest “Best practices of local self-government” takes place in Ukraine every year, with support from the Council of Europe. The Contest 2018 will be announced in April 2018.
