At regular intervals, the Council of Europe organises Conferences of Specialised Ministers or High-level Conferences.
These conferences are an important instrument of intergovernmental co-operation as they provide ministers in our member States with an opportunity to meet in order to discuss topical policy issues and agree on orientations for the work of the Council of Europe.
