A Council of Europe delegation will participate in the European Dialogue on Internet Governance (EuroDIG) –”Digital futures: promises and pitfalls”. The event will bring together some 650 representatives of national authorities, industry, civil society and academia to discuss topics such as cybersecurity, the digital revolution in the workplace, fake news, and citizenship online. Participants will address issues such as the fight against cybercrime, the protection of freedom of expression and personal data and the promotion of internet media literacy, on which the Council of Europe is currently developing new standards.
