Relations between the prosecutors and the media (2013)
Preliminary work - preparation of the 8th CCPE opinion (2013)
For 2013, the Committee of Ministers entrusted the CCPE with the task to draft an opinion on the difficulties concerning the implementation of Recommendation Rec(2000)19 when dealing with the improvement of the prosecutions services in members states, in particular the relations between prosecutors and the media. The draft opinion has been submitted for adoption at the 8th plenary meeting of the CCPE, on 8 and 9 October 2013 in Yerevan (Armenia).
Working group
The working group in charge of preparing Opinion No. 8 held its meetings on 21 and 22 March and on 27 and 28 June 2013 in Strasbourg.
