Back Launch of a new reporting cycle on Resolution No. 8 (2012)

The Bern Convention Secretariat, in cooperation with the European Environment Agency (EEA), is launching the second reporting cycle on Resolution No. 8 (2012) covering the period 2019–2024.

Reporting will be possible through the new Resolution No. 8 (2012) portal, published in Reportnet 3.

All relevant information on the functioning of the reporting cycle is available on the Reporting Reference Portal of the Bern Convention website.

The reporting exercise will follow the calendar below:

  • Testing period: 15 January – 1 March 2026
  • Reporting period: 1 March – 31 March 2026
  • Reporting deadline: 31 March 2026

The findings of the reporting cycle will support the analysis of data on the conservation status of habitats and species at the pan-European level.
