Council of Europe experts will participate in a conference in Chisinau on 19 February on the enforcement of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights concerning the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova.
Organised by the authorities of the Republic of Moldova and Promo–LEX, the conference will bring together government officials, international experts and representatives of civil society.
Speakers at the opening include Cristina Lesnic, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Alexandru Tanase, Minister of Justice, and Tatiana Molcean, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and European Integration and Christos Giakoumopoulos, Director General of Human Rights and the Rule of Law of the Council of Europe.
