On January 18, the Department for the Execution of Judgments met with the Prosecutor General of the French Court of Cassation, Mr Rémy Heitz, and the Attorney General, Ms Sonya Djemni-Wagner, in the presence of the Permanent Representation of France to the Council of Europe.
This meeting made it possible to present the procedure for executing judgments of the European Court, to take stock of the French cases currently pending before the Committee of Ministers and to discuss various issues, in particular the reopening of procedures following judgments from the European Court.
