On 26 June 2017 the meeting of the national consultation platform on reforming the training system for local authorities and working group on developing the concept of reforming professional training system of civil servants and local government officials was organised by the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service in co-operation with the Council of Europe Programme “Decentralisation and Territorial Consolidation in Ukraine” with participation of representatives of national local government associations, representatives of international community, expert community including Council of Europe experts and members of the Working Group 6.2. on Training System and Knowledge Management of the Donor Board on Decentralisation Reform in Ukraine.

The main topics of the agenda were about priorities and challenges in reform of the training systems civil servants and local government officials and preliminary recommendations of the Council of Europe Peer Review conducted in May 2017.

The analytical report  of the Council of Europe survey on training needs of local self-government officials in amalgamated territorial communities was also presented and distributed.
