Online Training Seminar for cultural routes applying for the

Each year, candidate routes interested in being certified as “Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe” can submit an application to the Governing Board of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe. Prior submission of their application for certification, candidates are strongly advised to consult our online resources at as well as attend a training session and an advisory meeting organized by the EPA / EICR Secretariat in Luxembourg and/or on-line.

Due to the current circumstances linked to the COVID pandemic, and in particular the difficulties linked to international travel, the European Institute of Cultural Routes (EICR) will host the Training Seminar for Candidate Routes as an online training seminar on 9-12 June for candidate routes applying for certification within the Certification Cycle 2020-2021. The training will be the opportunity to address aspects concerning the Cultural Routes certification cycle, certification criteria and preparation of applications for certification documentation.

The seminar will be divided in two different sessions. Interested cultural routes are invited to register for either the English or the French sessions, according to their preferred language:

  • 1st Session: 9 & 10 June 2020 (In English)
  • 2nd Session: 11 & 12 June 2020 (in French)
