Gender-related vulnerability of ethnic communities: overcoming phobias and fears

Intercultural #Melitopol extends it invitation to community representatives and coordinators of the ICC cities, as well as to anyone involved or interested in working on issues of gender equality, vulnerability and prevention of phobias and fears, to take part in the #ICCUkraine webinar titled "Gender-related vulnerability of ethnic communities: overcoming phobias and fears" on 21 May 2021 (11.00 - 13.00 Paris time) The webinar is organised in close collaboration with the national ICC coordinator, Dr. Kseniya Rubicondo, the Melitopol State University, and the Executive Committee of Melitopol City Council.

The event will consider the issues of Gender Equality, Gender Identity in a Multigender Perspective, Gender and Sexual Education for Children and Adolescents, Gender appearance and behaviour, the influence of socio-cultural and ethno-national constructs on the formation of aversive attitudes towards the expression of a person's gender expression.

Invited speaker of the event Mr. Igor Denisov, psychologist, Associate Professor at the Department of Psychology at Melitopol University.

The webinar will examine the issues of gender equality and gender identity from a multi-gender perspective, gender and sexual education for children and adolescents, gender perception and behaviour, and the influence of socio-cultural and ethno-national concepts on the formation of aversive attitudes towards individual gender expression.

The guest speaker of the event is Mr. Igor Denisov, psychologist, associate professor at the Department of Psychology of Melitopol University.
