The 10th edition of the Training Academy on Cultural Routes will take place in Périgueux-Montignac and Les Eyzies de Tayac in Dordogne, France, from 30 May to 2 June 2023, organised by the European Institute of Cultural Routes and the Prehistoric Rock Art Trails, certified Cultural Route of the Council of Europe since 2010, in cooperation with the Dordogne Périgord department, the Centre International de l'Art Pariétal of Lascaux, the Pôle d'Interprétation de la Préhistoire, and the Musée du Périgord d'art & d'archéologie.
The theme of the Training Academy 2023 will be "Looking to the Future: visibility, cooperation and sustainability in the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe”.
The event will be held in English and French, with simultaneous interpretation available for the plenary sessions.
Participation is limited to representatives of the 48 certified Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe only. A dedicated invitation containing the link to access the registration form will be sent to certified Cultural Routes presidents and managers. Each route can select up to 2 (two) representatives to attend the event.
Despite being an invitation-only event, the proceedings of the Training Academy will be disseminated on the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe website following the event for all interested stakeholders.
