Survey: Covid-19 and the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe: impacts and responses

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the cultural and tourism sector is being felt across Europe and the world and Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe networks and activities have been seriously impacted by the current situation.

The Secretariat of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes and the European Institute of Cultural Routes have just released a survey on the “Impact of COVID-19 on the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe”. The survey is intended to collect information on how the pandemic is affecting Cultural Routes activities, the challenges they are facing and the measures they are taking in order to tackle them, also with a view to informing EPA member States, the Council of Europe and the European Union, as well as partner International Organizations.

A webinar with the representatives of the 38 certified Cultural Routes, the members of the EPA Bureau and partner Institutions will be organized to discuss the questionnaire’s results, assess the preliminary impacts of COVID-19 on the Cultural Routes and reflect on future measures to be taken.

Cultural Routes representatives and their network members are invited to submit their anonymous responses by Friday 15th May through the following link : https://forms.gle/wptiydS6LcDFy84Q7 .

The EPA Secretariat and the European Institute of Cultural Routes thank all route members and representatives in advance for their valuable contributions.
