Descrizione

The Patronato de la Alhambra y Generalife is in charge of the protection, administration and conservation of the Alhambra, the Generalife and the Palace of Charles V (Palacio de Carlos V) in Granada. The Patronato is an administrative agency under the Ministry of Culture and Historical Heritage of the Government of Andalusia.
The gardens and cultivated spaces, with their elements of adornment and symbolism, are an inseparable part of the world-renowned Alhambra and Generalife palaces and enclosures. The trace that the passage of the centuries has left has multiplied and enriched the variety of the gardens with diverse forms and gardener tastes, at the same time a reflection of epochs and different sensibilities.
