The Head of the Centre of Expertise made a keynote speech at the CEMR Conference to present the 12 principles and the guidelines and tools on participation.
Citizen participation, openness and transparency were among the main subjects of the conference.
On 13 June EUDEL and the Centre of Expertise conducted ELoGE workshop for the second group of municipalities who will now start a round of self- evaluations against the 12 principles. The second award ceremony is scheduled for November.
The first round was held last year with very positive feedback. Five Basque municipalities were awarded the Label of Governance Excellence.
