The Steering Committee on Media and Information Society will hold its 14th plenary meeting in Strasbourg from 19 to 21 June. This meeting will be the first one under its new mandate 2018-2019.

The main topics of the agenda will be the first steps towards its deliverables that are being prepared by the two experts committees MSI-JOQ and MSI-AUT and the elaboration of a strategy to foster the implementation of CM Recommendation (2016)4 on the protection of journalism and safety of journalists and other media actors, on the basis on best practices in some of the member states and experts input.
