Eric Meerkamper works at the intersection of emerging technologies and global digital citizen engagement and human rights issues including: democratic renewal, online gender-based violence, LGBTQ rights, peace-building, violent extremism, persecution of ethnic minorities and refugees, mis/disinformation, and global public health. Eric is a Fellow at the Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies, and a member of the Advisory Board of the CyberPeace Institute in Geneva. Eric holds an MBA from the Ivey Business School and a BA (Hons) International Political Science from Western University in Canada. He is the Co-Founder of the Centre for Social Innovation in Toronto.
