Born in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he fled from his war-torn country at the age of 10. Since then, he has been active in civil society, mostly on projects dedicated to helping the refugees and vulnerable people. He embarked on a mission to help Bosnians and Yugoslavs reunite in Germany and overcome their prejudice and grudge among themselves. In 2018 he created a YouTube channel named Gastarbajter (“migrant workers” in German) where he shared trustworthy information about the possibilities to find a job, one's integration into society and knowledge about German laws and regulations. He gained millions of views then decided to create a company with the goal of securing the sustainability of his work. He believes that the experience of German democracy will, through his Gastarbajteri, have a positive effect in the Balkans. Married to a Ukrainian, he is currently working on a similar project for Ukrainian refugees in Germany.
