Sylvie Bollini is Senior Adviser in the Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary General on Migration and Refugees. As an expert in children’s rights, she has been in charge of inter-country adoptions, child abduction and fight against child sexual violence and abuse at national level for 10 years, and served as Programme Adviser at the Council of Europe Children’s Rights Division. She was expert to the Lanzarote Committee and the ad hoc Committee against violence against women and domestic violence and actively participated in the drafting of the Istanbul Convention and its implementation at national level. She is author of some publications including a research on women activists in favour of polygamy in Senegal.
