Carina Haupt is a media analyst in the Media Intelligence Service (MIS), the market research department of the EBU. Carina is the author of Democracy & PSM, MIS’ latest publication on the relationship between a nation’s democratic health and the strength of its public service media, as well as the EBU’s annual report on Trust in Media. She is also part of the EBU’s strategic initiative PSM Contribution to Society. Carina studied International Communication and Empirical Communication Science in the Netherlands, France and Germany. Before joining the EBU in 2017, she worked as a market researcher in a German advertising agency as well as for ARD’s regional branch SWR.
