In order to strengthen the Council of Europe co-operation with member states and beyond, the Organisation has launched a new Project Management Methodology (PMM), including a handbook, templates and staff training programme.

The launch of the Project Management Methodology brings more systematic project management, focusing on the Council of Europe strategy and values, a human rights approach to management, a results-based orientation and stronger field presence against the backdrop of the Council of Europe unique offer of standard setting, monitoring and technical co-operation.

Project Management Methodology rollout consists of a series of information meetings and training sessions for Council of Europe staff, as well as a dedicated website including an interactive reader for the handbook, detailed templates, more detailed guidance, an expert voices’ blog, an FAQ and an interactive forum.
