Support to young people from Ukraine: call for grant applications continues

The European Youth Foundation (EYF) has decided to continue and expand the special call for activities to support young people from Ukraine. The call now includes possibilities for international youth co-operation projects. An information session will take place on 7 June.

Applications can be submitted both for international activity grants and for pilot activity grants .

An international activity is an international meeting of young people or youth leaders in Europe which contribute to the work of the Council of Europe’s youth sector. The meeting should involve directly young people from Ukraine or international multipliers working directly with such young people. The project should include a one-off youth gathering, preferably with follow-up actions, and should have a direct impact on young people from Ukraine affected by the war in their daily life, supporting them to access their rights and navigate multiple challenges faced.

A pilot activity could include peer-to-peer learning and support, training sessions and workshops, information and counselling, awareness-raising initiatives and capacity building for young people, youth workers and youth leaders, meetings of young people from Ukraine, analysis, research and other actions that are based on the principles and practice of youth work. Pilot activities may have a local, regional or national scope, and can also include activities in a local cross-border context. Activities may be implemented in person, online and in hybrid formats.

The European Youth Foundation in co-operation with the Council of Europe project "Youth for Democracy in Ukraine: Phase III" will organise an information session about the call on 7 June 2023, from 9.00 to 11.00 CET, in Ukrainian and English
Register to participate in this information session before 5 June 2023
