Secretary General Marija Pejčinović Burić has met the European Commission Vice-President for Values and Transparency, Vera Jourova. The state of play of the Register of Damage Caused by the Aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine was discussed during the meeting, as an immediate follow-up to the Reykjavik Summit.
The Secretary General emphasised the Organisation’s support for Ukraine, underlining the relevance of the Council of Europe Action Plan for Ukraine for 2023-2026. The European Union’s accession to the European Convention of Human Rights was also discussed during the meeting.
