Back New edition of the CEPEJ evaluation report on European judicial systems

The European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) will publish the new edition of the evaluation report on European judicial systems, based on data for the year 2020 (more information about the evaluation).

This report is the result of the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data collected in 44 member states of the Council of Europe, as well as Israel, Morocco and Kazakhstan, concerning the budgets of the judicial systems, the legal professionals, the organisation of the judicial systems, the development of new technologies as well as the efficiency and the quality of the public service of justice provided to the users.

In addition to the analysis of the European trends, the report contains country profiles allowing to situate each country in the European context by presenting the data but also synthetic analyses of the specificities of each judicial system.

The CEPEJ-STAT interactive database will be enriched with new data and a new dashboard on judges and prosecutors.
