Budget and timelines

The €1.400 million Project is implemented in 2015-2016 under Programmatic Co-operation Framework between the European Union and the Council of Europe for the countries of Eastern Partnership: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.

Training on interactive methods of adult learning for representatives of the Departments of personal data protection and access to information of the Ombudsperson’s Office

Skills-oriented 2-day training on interactive methods of adult learning was organized for the staff of two Ombudsperson’s Office Departments - Personal data protection and Access to information under the support of the Joint EU/CoE Programme “Strengthening Implementation of the European Human Rights Standards”. New approaches, methods and technics for facilitating learning of professionals might increase the efficiency of trainings’ delivery by the Ombudsperson’s staff, encourage motivational and interactive basis between the trainers and trainees.

In 2017 with support of the Council of Europe the Ombudsperson’s Office is planning to organise a series of training initiatives on the legal grounds and practical aspects of personal data protection and access to public information. These trainings aimed at raising awareness of public officials on how data protection principles apply in a normal public and private environment as well as encourage application of these principles in practice and in a particular setting.

The trainings on basis of data protection and access to information with an application of new training methodology will be provided all over Ukraine for different groups of public officials including School of data protection in Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv.
