The Council of Europe via Centre of Expertise for Local Government Reform is assisting adaptation of the Council of Europe Local Finance Benchmark toolkit to country’s needs and pilot in several municipalities. This activity is continuation of Study carried out current year, as well as of the Improving Financial Management through Local Finance Benchmarking Conference’ findings and recommendations held in Chisinau on 8 October 2015.

The purpose of this activity is to improve local revenue policies and financial management practices in Moldova by using the adapted LFB Toolkit. Actual work in the pilot municipalities will be launched in February, 2016.
