In the framework of the joint EU - Council of Europe Project "Delivering Good Governance in Slovakia II Phase", the Centre of Expertise for Good Governance is organising a meeting of local experts to discuss the first draft of the National Score Card prepared on the basis of the Centre’s Public Ethics Benchmarking toolkit, adapted to the Slovak context. The meeting is a preparatory step for the creation of a Slovak tool for the evaluation of Public Ethics of local authorities.

The Council of Europe is cooperating with the Institute of Public Policy (Comenius University in Bratislava) together with whom a series of activities will be organised to strengthen the capacities of the Slovak municipalities to detect potential shortcomings in its work related to public ethics and understand possibilities for self-improvement.
