Leadership Academy Programme: Training of Trainers in Lithuania

The Centre of Expertise for Good Governance of the Council of Europe, in cooperation with Dainava Training Centre – a national implementing partner institution, is organising a Training of Trainers (ToT) in Druskininkai (Lithuania) on 28-30 January, under the Council of Europe (CoE) tool Leadership Academy Programme.

Around 10 national experts - lecturers in Lithuania are undergoing this training course where they are taught on methodology and approach for teaching mayors and senior local authority representatives on different topics in the area of leadership and good governance. The lecturers are equally increasing their content knowledge on democratic governance principles in line with CoE standards. Additional 3 training stages for local authorities will be organised in 2020 where the national lecturers will put to practice these newly acquired knowledge and skills.

The training is facilitated by a CoE international consultant and is being carried out in the frame of a joint CoE-EU Project “Delivering Good Governance in Lithuania”.
