The Centre of Expertise for Good Governance is organising the second stage of the Leadership Academy Programme (LAP) for local authorities, in cooperation with Partners for Democratic Change Slovakia.  The innovative training sessions for mayors and senior local officials will focus on how to improve institutional leadership for good governance in Slovakia. Specifically, this stage will include a new training module on leadership in times of crisis, which has been developed to address challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. All participants will have an opportunity to exchange their experiences and learn from each other, as well as though role-play exercises.

The training will be held online, between 15 and 19 June, and will be followed by more online training sessions over summer. The LAP in Slovakia is being implemented as a part of the CoE – EU joint project “Delivering Good Governance in Slovakia”.
