The Council of Europe has released the French version of Volume 7 of the ETINED series, entitled “Means to counter education fraud – Legislation, practices and instruments.” This publication examines legislative, judicial and practical approaches adopted across member States to address growing challenges such as diploma mills, essay mills and contract cheating.
“Fraud in education undermines the integrity of education systems and trust in qualifications. This publication offers concrete responses to support quality education based on ethics and transparency,” said Villano Qiriazi, Head of the Education Department of the Council of Europe.
The volume provides a comparative analysis of national laws, case law and practices, as well as the role of ENIC-NARIC networks and codes of ethics. It also explores digital solutions and assessment design as tools for prevention and detection.
